1. Friends are the best thing ever. Had an amazing time with my roommate and friends this weekend, and I’m grateful to have met everyone.
2. I love San Francisco boys! They litter the streets in abundance, beautifying corners and shooting hard stares your way.
3. I love the San Francisco party scene!
4. On Friday night we hobbled over to a party at Public Works. A dear friend of mine put this party together so I was flattered that I could help promote it. And yes, I do like the nickname “Flyer Girl.” That night consisted of amazing music, out-of-control dancing, recreational, uhh, enhancements, making out with the same gender, and most importantly, being surrounded by a great crew of friends. 3:30 AM hit and of course we hopped on over to an underground in a sleek, black and trendy limo (Thanks P!). As always, the underground facilitated a continuation of the fun. Met some very interesting people, and met a cute guy that is taking me on a date Wednesday :)
5. Saturday’s day was shot due to the fact that I only got home at 7 in the morning!
6. Saturday’s night started with a rather enjoyable dinner, which was followed by a visit to Beauty Bar at D’s insistence. The DJ grooved 70’s and 80’s popular favorites as we moved our bodies to the music. Place was packed so the dance floor looked more like bumper cars. Our next destination was a cool SOMA loft followed by a wicked underground at a location I hadn’t visited before.
7. Sunday started early with a great brunch at my roommates cousin’s place in Oakland. The rest of the day was productive but dotted with some bad news from my landlord. He won’t let me have a pet cat! Boooooo. (Note to self: Throw crazy party that turns into an all night rager without warning the landlord who lives upstairs).
8. Excited about my dates for the week. Sushi on Tuesday, a surprise on Wednesday, and gay boy dinner date on Thursday.
9. Drama is not my cup of tea. Basically, I had a visitor from home this weekend. He was coming to “explore the city, visit friends and me.” I let him stay with me. Quickly found out his real motivation which was to stalk me and try to get with me. This reallyyyyy pissed me off . Told him I had no feelings for him. Was slightly awkward since he insisted on remaining a guest at my apartment. I chose to ignore him for the rest of the weekend and brought one of my hot candidates home Saturday night. To top it all off, my bitchy guest made a mess, didn’t clean it and ate my food. Bombarded my phone on Sunday with texts. He said “my mind would take me to a very bad place” if I didn’t figure things out. This prompted me to roll over laughing. What an idiot. But glad to be done with this!
10. Despite the minor infestation of drama, I had an amazing weekend and am excited for future ones!
XOXO,

P.S. There’s no rhyme or reason to male and female interactions sometimes. One thing may seem like another because you weren’t perceptive enough to judge the situation or the character. Some things go together without any apparent explanation.
